German Motorwerks offers; repairs, maintenance and regular services for most Volkswagen vehicles. Whether you own a Jetta or a Vanagon or any late model water-cooled VW, we have the experience and training to service your car. If you need regular check-ups or oil changes, we offer these services, as well as more complex repairs. We can perform anything from factory maintenance services to APR performance tuning. If you are buying a Volkswagen, we are available for pre-purchase inspections also. 

 

This is a general plan of what your Volkswagen's service schedule would be like, although your specific vehicle may differ. Here at GMW we feel that VW stretches some of there maintenance intervals too long such as timing belt replacement and automatic transmission services. GMW recommends timing belt replacements between 60k and 70k miles, transmission fluid flushes with our BG transmission flush machine at 40k miles. And another important BG service that will help improve fuel mileage and retain factory performance would be our fuel/air induction service (carbon cleaning). We also suggest changing your engine oil at 5,000 mile intervals as opposed to 10,000 mile intervals with the synthetic oil that's correct for your engine.

• Manual Transmission and Final Drive Check for leaks

• Front Axle Test for excessive play, inspect all dust seals

• Continuously Variable Transmission (multitronic) Change ATF & Filter

• Power Steering Fluid Check

• Belts and Tensioners Inspect

• Underbody Inspect for damage and leaks

• Road Test Check all systems for correct on-road operation

• Lights Check all exterior and interior lights for proper operation

• Tire/Wheel Rotation if needed
